This session was in the afternoon of a bitter cold December day. I brought my little 7 year old assistant along to pop a little extra light because it was cloudy. For only 35 minutes, we did great. This family operates their own wholesale tree farm and has a beautiful backdrop to capture some memories of their growing boys. Their grandmother was visiting from South Carolina, so we were able to include her, too. I’d been wanting to do a tree farm session, they’re a popular site for holiday mini sessions, and the view was incredible. These boys were great sports considering how freezing we all were! And we got the holiday card photo for the year – win! Too bad a hit a large doe on my way back from this shoot.
